About Dr. Guess
Dr. James Allen Guess is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in medical conditions of the neck and spine. His area of expertise includes general orthopedic surgery, adult and pediatric spine surgery as well as minimally invasive spine surgery.

Brought up in the metropolitan area of Washington, D.C., Dr. Guess has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 1995. Dr. Guess has been married since 1990 with one son.

He received his undergraduate degree from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado and graduated from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. After completing his medical degree from University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, Dr. Guess went to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for his orthopedic surgery residency. He did his adult and pediatric spine surgery fellowship at University of Louisville, Kentucky.
